Product Description

Effectiveness is not guaranteed on all Windows 10 systems. Installation requires a Windows 10 system running version 1709 or later, and requires an Intel 7th generation or higher CPU and a compatible GPU. If double-clicking the installation fails, you may need to run the installer in Command Prompt as an administrator and enter commands. CD3 contains the installer for the ARM64 architecture.

Version 2.4.1.0 supports playback of High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) videos in any video application on Windows 10 devices. HEVC, commonly known as H.265, is a next-generation video compression standard developed by ITU-T and ISO/IEC.

This video codec significantly improves compression while maintaining higher resolution. Using this video codec can reduce file size by approximately 30% to 50%, making it easier to transmit over a network and is often used for 4K content. High compression rates inevitably require a decoder to decompress the compressed file, which is why the HEVC video extension is designed for this purpose. Currently, most videos are in H.264, and playback software generally supports H.264 decoding, but H.265 requires additional encoding support.
